Swirl-Type Spark Arrestor 1. Installed in the main exhaust duct upstream of the dust collector to help capture sparks and hot particles before they reach the filter system. 2. The internal swirl structure creates rotational airflow and promotes repeated particle collision and separation. Separated particles are discharged from the lower section of the unit. 3. Suitable for applications that may generate sparks or hot particles, such as laser cutting, robotic welding, metal cutting and grinding. 4. It can also be used as a pre-separation device in selected foundry, smelting and biomass-processing applications. A rotary airlock valve can be added for continuous particle discharge where required.
Baffle-Type Spark Arrestor 1. Installed in the main exhaust duct upstream of the dust collector to help capture sparks and hot particles before they reach the filter system. 2. Internal labyrinth baffles repeatedly change the airflow direction and promote particle collision and separation, helping reduce the number and energy of sparks and hot particles entering the downstream dust collector. 3. Suitable for applications that may generate sparks or hot particles, such as laser cutting, robotic welding, metal cutting and grinding. 4. The unit can be integrated into the exhaust duct as a pre-separation device to help protect downstream filter bags and filter cartridges from excessive hot-particle exposure.
Cellulose Nanofiber Flame-Retardant Filter Cartridge 1. Flame-retardant additives are incorporated into the cellulose nanofiber filter media to improve its resistance to ignition and flame propagation compared with untreated cellulose media. 2. This media may be used for suitable welding, cutting and grinding dust applications where occasional sparks may reach the dust collector. A spark arrestor or suitable pre-separation device should still be used when the application presents a spark or fire hazard. 3. In shot-blasting applications, fine dust, elevated temperatures and hot particles can increase the risk of filter-media damage or ignition. Flame-retardant media can form part of the overall risk-control system, but it does not make the dust collector fireproof or replace application-specific fire and explosion protection. 4. The standard media weight is approximately 135 g/m². A Ø352 × 660 mm cartridge provides a filtration area of approximately 21–23.5 m². Filtration performance depends on the selected media specification and should be confirmed for each application.
PET PTFE Flame-Retardant Filter Cartridge 1. The cartridge uses polyester PET spunbond filter media with PTFE membrane lamination. Flame-retardant media can be supplied for suitable industrial dust applications. 2. This media may be used for suitable welding, cutting, grinding and shot-blasting applications where occasional sparks or hot particles may reach the dust collector. 4. Polyester filter media offers good mechanical strength and can be selected for suitable industrial dust applications. Chemical compatibility must be confirmed according to the actual gas composition, temperature and chemical concentration.
