Cartridge Support & Clamping

Internal support frames carry the horizontal cartridge assemblies. The end clamping mechanism holds the filters in position; correct installation and gasket seating help prevent air bypass.

Models & Selection Guide

Use the following horizontal air inlet filter configurations for preliminary selection. Final sizing depends on the required airflow, ambient dust conditions, filter media and allowable pressure drop.

Model example: EHAIF-16

The number after EHAIF is the total number of individual cartridge elements: 16 elements form 8 conical + cylindrical pairs.

Each pair comprises one conical section and one cylindrical section, typically 660 mm long per section. Refer to the drawing above for an example; final diameters, end caps and media are confirmed for the selected configuration.

Integration into a custom housing: The internal filtration assembly can be incorporated into a purpose-designed enclosure, including an air handling unit casing. Housing geometry, airflow distribution, sealing and maintenance access are reviewed for each integration.

Weight scope: Reference weight of the internal filtration assembly, including the tube sheet, cartridge support frames, filter cartridges and pulse valves. It excludes the housing, support legs, service platforms and external ductwork; it is not the complete unit or shipping weight.

Dimensions: Listed L × W × H values are reference dimensions for the configuration shown. Confirm final assembly and housing dimensions in the project drawing.

Selection: Airflow ranges are reference values, not a guaranteed rating for every environment. Larger capacities and other layouts can be reviewed on request.

Applications

EHAIF self-cleaning air inlet filters are configured for industrial equipment intake and large-volume outdoor-air systems. The filtration requirement is confirmed for each application.

Industrial Air Compressors

Intake filtration for large industrial compressors, including centrifugal compressor systems. Filter area and media are selected for the ambient dust conditions and the compressor’s allowable inlet pressure loss.

Industrial Blowers

Ambient-air filtration upstream of industrial blowers. Housing connections and filter capacity are configured for the airflow and installation layout.

Blast Furnace Blowers

Intake-air filtration for blast furnace blower systems at iron and steel plants. Selection considers surrounding airborne dust, continuous operation and maintenance access.

Air Separation & Oxygen Plants

Filtration of ambient air before the air compressor in an air separation unit (ASU) or oxygen production plant. This is particulate intake filtration; downstream gas purification remains a separate process.

Workshop Fresh-Air Systems

Large-volume outdoor-air filtration for workshop supply-air and ventilation systems. Filter media and airflow are matched to ambient conditions and the required supply-air quality.

Air Handling Units & HVAC

Pulse-cleaned cartridge assemblies can be integrated into a purpose-designed air handling unit (AHU) casing or a separate intake housing. Available static pressure, compressed-air supply, sealing and service access are reviewed.

Selection & Project Inquiry

Send the airflow requirement and a simple layout or site photos. We can review a complete air inlet filter or an internal filtration assembly for integration into your housing.

Information for a Quotation

  • Application and downstream equipment type
  • Required airflow in m³/h and operating schedule
  • Ambient dust, temperature, humidity and coastal exposure, if relevant
  • Required filter performance and allowable pressure drop
  • Available space, inlet/outlet connections and installation layout
  • Compressed-air supply and control power
  • Complete unit or internal assembly; required quantity

Equipment drawings, existing filter details and site photos are useful when replacing or integrating a filter.

Supply & Configuration Options

Complete Housing or Internal Assembly

Specify whether you need a complete filter housing or the tube sheet, cartridge supports, filters and pulse-cleaning components for integration.

Site-Specific Configuration

Housing dimensions, outlet position, cartridge media, access arrangements and control requirements can be reviewed for the project.

Filtration & Maintenance

Pulse cleaning removes accumulated dust from the filter surface. Monitor pressure drop and inspect filters, seals and cleaning components; cartridges still require replacement when their condition or performance calls for it.

Model Identification

EHAIF-16 contains 16 individual cartridge elements arranged as 8 conical + cylindrical pairs. Model numbers identify element count; they do not specify a fixed airflow rating for every environment.
