Cellulose Filter Cartridge 1. Cellulose filter media is manufactured primarily from wood-pulp fibers blended with selected synthetic or modified fibers to provide the required filtration and mechanical properties. 2. The pleatable media is lightweight and provides good air permeability and particle capture for suitable dry-dust applications. The standard media weight is approximately 135 g/m². 3. A Ø350 × 660 mm cellulose filter cartridge typically provides approximately 21–23.5 m² of filtration area, while a polyester cartridge of similar dimensions generally provides approximately 9–10 m² because of the thicker media and wider pleat spacing. 4. The pleated cellulose media is supported by an outer metal mesh. A typical filtration velocity is approximately 0.5–0.8 m/min, subject to the dust characteristics, concentration and operating conditions.
