1.2 During the casting process, heat can generate fumes containing oil mist and fine dust. These contaminants may adhere to the inner walls of ventilation ducts, making conventional dry filter dust collectors unsuitable for some applications.

1.3 Sparks may also be generated during certain casting operations. When oil mist, dust, and other combustible residues accumulate inside the ventilation ducts, they can increase the risk of fire.

1.4 Therefore, accumulated oil residues and dust inside the ventilation ducts should be removed regularly to reduce buildup and minimize potential fire hazards.

1.5 Electrostatic precipitators can effectively capture oil mist, but sticky dust and oily residues may accumulate on the electrodes, making cleaning and maintenance difficult. Electrical arcing may also create a potential fire risk.

1.6 Considering the presence of oil mist, sticky dust, sparks, and other complex operating conditions, a wet dust collector is often a more suitable solution for this type of application.

1.7 The wet dust collector can be equipped with a floating residue removal system and a chain scraper to continuously remove sludge and settled contaminants from the water tank.

1.8 A combination of wet dust collector and activated carbon filter can also be added, mainly to solve the VOCS gas contained in the exhaust gas.Of course, plate and frame bag filters and HEPA filters can also be added to improve the final purification efficiency of exhaust gas.
