1.2. Filter cartridges can be supplied with flame-retardant and antistatic filter media. Conductive components can be bonded and grounded to help control the accumulation of static charge.

1.3. The fan can be configured with an explosion-proof motor and suitable spark-resistant construction according to the application and hazardous area requirements.

1.4. Pulse jet cleaning components, including pulse valves, solenoid coils and electrical control components, can be selected in explosion-protected configurations where required.

1.5. Explosion relief panels or flameless venting devices can be installed on the dust collector housing according to the dust properties, installation location and explosion protection requirements.

1.6. Explosion-proof electrical control cabinets, pulse controllers and related electrical components can be configured according to the required hazardous area classification and project standard.

1.7. Explosion isolation devices can be installed on the inlet duct where required to help limit flame and pressure propagation between the dust collector and connected ductwork.

1.8. Fire detection, suppression or other fire protection measures can be integrated according to the dust characteristics, ignition risk and process safety requirements.

1.9. Optional spark detection, temperature monitoring and differential pressure monitoring can be provided for process monitoring, alarm and equipment interlock functions.

1.10. The final explosion protection configuration should be determined according to the dust properties, operating conditions, installation environment, risk assessment and applicable compliance requirements.
