1.1. This bulk bag unloading station combines powder feeding and cartridge dust collection functions in one integrated unit, helping control airborne dust generated during material unloading and feeding operations.

1.2. The required extraction airflow is selected according to the feeding opening, material characteristics, dust generation rate and operating conditions.

1.3. The station can be configured with a top bulk bag unloading section and a side manual feeding opening, allowing different packaging sizes and feeding methods to be handled by the same equipment concept.

1.4. For bulk bag handling, the bag can be lifted above the feeding station using suitable lifting equipment and positioned over the upper discharge area. A bag opening or piercing device can be provided according to the selected operating method.

1.5. The side feeding opening is suitable for manually handling smaller bags or lightweight packaged materials where bulk bag unloading is not required.

1.6. Cartridge filtration provides a large filtration area within a compact equipment footprint and can be integrated directly into the feeding station to capture dust close to the material discharge point.

1.7. Equipment construction can be selected according to the handled material and process requirements, including stainless steel options for applications requiring corrosion resistance or improved cleanability.

1.8. Some powders may present combustible dust hazards. Where applicable, explosion protection, electrical classification, pressure relief, monitoring and other safety measures should be determined according to the material properties, dust hazard assessment and applicable project requirements.

1.9. Differential pressure monitoring, temperature monitoring and other control functions can be provided as optional configurations according to the operating conditions and safety requirements.

1.10. Modular equipment construction can be provided for overseas projects to facilitate containerized transportation and on-site installation.
