1.1. The DFTA / DFPA air intake filtration system uses horizontally or inclined-mounted filter cartridges to remove airborne dust from incoming ambient air, with available airflow configurations from approximately 5,000 to 200,000 m³/h.

1.2. The filtration system helps protect downstream fans, blowers, compressors and other air-handling equipment from dust accumulation while providing cleaner intake air for continuous operation.

1.3. When differential pressure reaches the preset value, the pulse jet cleaning system uses compressed air to remove accumulated dust from the filter cartridges and restore filtration performance.

1.4. This type of air intake filtration system is widely used in industrial compressed air stations and other applications requiring large volumes of filtered ambient air.

1.5. It can also be used upstream of blast furnace blowers in steel plants where reliable air intake filtration is required for continuous process operation.

1.6. Air intake filtration systems can be applied to main air compressors and process air equipment in oxygen plants where stable and clean inlet air is required.

1.7. They are also suitable for industrial diesel engines and other equipment requiring long-term operation in dusty environments.

1.8. Additional applications include fresh-air filtration systems for equipment rooms, central air-handling systems, pharmaceutical production areas, food processing facilities and other environments requiring improved intake air cleanliness.

1.9. Filter cartridge quantity, filtration area and housing dimensions are selected according to the required airflow, ambient dust concentration and allowable system resistance.

1.10. Modular construction can be provided for overseas projects to facilitate containerized transportation and on-site installation.
