Sulfuric Acid Dilution System

1. The system is designed to dilute concentrated sulfuric acid with purified water under controlled conditions and cool the solution through a heat exchanger to achieve the required process concentration and temperature.

2. Acid-contacting components can be configured with suitable corrosion-resistant materials according to acid concentration, operating temperature and process requirements.

3. Semi-automatic and automatic configurations are available. Pumps, valves, temperature monitoring and density measurement can be integrated into the control system according to project requirements.

4. Sulfuric acid dilution is strongly exothermic and releases a large amount of heat. The closed-process design, controlled dosing and cooling system help manage the dilution process and reduce direct operator exposure and uncontrolled acid mist release during normal operation.

5. The system is commonly used for lead-acid battery electrolyte preparation and other industrial applications requiring controlled sulfuric acid dilution and cooling.
